Who We Are
2 The Nations is a United States recognized 501c3 non-profit charity that exists to assist the poor who struggle to survive in primarily rural areas of the world, through environmental projects, infrastructure projects, medical clinics, education agriculture projects, livestock projects, alternative education projects, homes for women rescued from human traffickers, orphanages and sustainable livelihood projects.
Our purpose as an organization is to simply do the will of God and follow Jesus.
Our action point is to "Love God and Love People".
We get that purpose from the Bible in Matthew 22 where it says, "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Jesus has made it so simple for us. It sounds so easy, but we realize there needs to be a community to support those who are striving to follow Jesus Christ. Jesus commanded us to "go into all the world and preach the gospel making disciples." The message is undebatable but the methods change. The message to Win, Build and Send is our rallying cry.
We believe everyone should be connected to people.
Life is about sharing. We need to share our faith, share our struggles and share our time with people in our lives. Cultivating life-long friendships is very important to us. We believe everyone should passionately serve. Putting others before ourselves is the most rewarding way to live life. We want to help you find opportunities to serve others and make a positive difference in someone else's life.
2 The Nations takes seriously our role to serve and we exist as an organization that offers people hope and purpose. As we travel and minister in many countries where war and disasters are a norm, our desire is to be a bridge of peace, hope and friendship to all. We will be working with many people in various countries and finding out how we can best help them. Ecology, alternative low cost energy sources, fresh water supplies, health clinics, livelihood projects, literacy programs, and community youth programs are some of the many projects we hope to undertake as we look to be a "part of the solution instead of part of the problem."
